The Spot Personal GPS Tracker sends a signal to a satellite every ten minutes and places that GPS coordinate onto a map that is visible to anyone that has the link. The device has a OK button informing people on your list that your OK and there is a I need help button notifying people on your list that you need help. The most important function is the 911 function this will notify authorities that you need help, like an alarm system it goes through a processing center who then notifies the authorities of your location. Makes sense cars have had this for years, why not a motorcycle, hope I never need it.
