Took a ride to the town of Winthrop, population 349, scenic town that I imagine gets invaded with tourist on the holidays and the weekends, but is quiet and fun during the week. Stayed at the Rivers Edge Resort in a nice small cabin and the Methow River ran behind the cabin. Riding through the North Cascades was beautiful, though it did rain the last 35 miles of the ride; sure am glad I had new tires put on. I will definetly visit Winthrop again when the weather gets better and even though it was a wet ride it was well worth it. Wish I took more pictures but it was raining to hard.
