This is an easy park to visit by car/motorcycle/bicycle the main road Rim Drive follows the rim of the crater, picturesque from any view point you just can’t go wrong and there are plenty of places to pull over and take pictures. The lake’s water has the bluest water I’ve ever seen feed by underground thermals the lake does not freeze.
