After riding 2700 miles I’ve made camp in Camp Verde, AZ small town about ten thousand people with a lot of horse properties. The trip down and across to Camp Verde was a lot of fun met some really nice people along the way and only one set back (rear tire flat). The start of the ride was wet and cold, then it got hot, then cool and dry; I used almost all of my gear getting here because of all of the climate changes. Weather is cool here in Camp Verde but it’s dry so I like it and having heated gear makes it just fine. I think I’ll go to Winslow Arizona and try to find that flatbed Ford.

I did mention that this is Horse Country.
