Was discovered in 1877 and rises to 183 feet, 150 feet wide and is 400 feet long. Erosion from underground natural springs over a period of thousands of years created this natural bridge. To get to the location it’s a bit of a hike but well worth it when you get there; it’s downhill and of course all uphill heading back out. Tonto Natural Bridge State Park is also a nice place just to picnic; there is a gift shop and plenty of facilities.
