Six States And 2400 Miles Later

We made it back and we both called it a good trip, except for my dead battery we had no problems with the bikes. Temperatures ranged from 90 to the 30’s, got rained on twice, climbed to an altitude of more than 11,000 feet going through Eisenhower Tunnel and I used most of my gear; even my heated gear. We were gone for eleven days but only rode 6 of the days and we covered 2300 miles in five days with one easy 100 mile day riding around Kansas. Charlie visited his old friends and I made some new friends, I look forward to going back to Kansas and hope I can get back there soon.
