In Laughlin you can find cheap food, cheap places to stay and in many ways is typical of a gambling town. It does not have the variety of Vegas but it’s less expensive and not as crowded. We stayed at the Pioneer Hotel for less than $30 dollars a night, designed more like a motel so we could see our bikes easily and everything we needed within walking distance. I usually don’t like gambling towns but I liked this one more than others it felt more like how Vegas has been described to me from old timers. http://www.pioneerlaughlin.com/

On the ride home we stopped at Joe’s BBQ for some good eats and friendly people, check them out. http://www.eatatjoesbarbecue.com/

We took Route 93, 97 and 96 to get home, these are nice roads that bypass most of the interstate.
