Death Valley Is Alive

Despite its name Death Valley is a spectacular place with endless views. I would imagine riding through in the afternoon would have left me with a different opinion but in the morning with temperatures in the low 80’s it was a nice ride. Still Death Valley has a record temperature of 134 degrees and in 1996 had 145 days of temperatures above 110 degrees. At its lowest point Death Valley is 282 below Sea Level and is sandwiched between Amargosa Mountain Range on the east and the Panamint Mountain Range on the west.
